Rare Earth Countersunk Holding Magnets
These Rare Earth Magnets are a combination of Neodymium blocks, rings and pot magnets with a countersunk hole in the centre, designed to enable the magnet to be screwed into place wherever you would like. They are intended to be fixed in a permanent way with a screw so as to create a magnetic pull in an area where there wasn’t one initially. They are frequently used by those in the construction industry, such as carpenters, and engineers.
You will often find Countersunk Magnets being used as invisible closing mechanisms inside a cabinet door or drawer. The countersunk feature allows for the magnets to be screwed into a recessed surface, ensuring that the magnet does not appear bulky and doesn’t get in the way but maintains its magnetic pull.
Also a great tool to be used in DIY projects, these countersunk magnets can be used to create latches as well as hold doors open and closed. They are also often used by electricians in light fittings as the magnetic feature adds a considerable level of convenience.
