Double Glazing
AMF magnetic tape can double glaze windows within your home, office or any other desired location. This easy solution is inexpensive and a fast and effective way to get the job done. Strong magnetic strips come in attracting pairs, that adhere to each other with magnetic bond.
Magnetic strips/tapes have a strong self-adhesive backing. They come in complementary A and B parts that magnetically attract each other. These strips work on all types of window frames and surfaces. The type of material will not impact the magnetic bond. The magnetic tapes can bond perspex glazing to window frames. Simply cut the magnetic tape to the exact measurements of the window with scissors.
Clear acrylic is often used for double glazing, as this helps with temperature control. However, sometimes dark or sound and noise insulation glazing is necessary. Magnets allow glazing to be attached temporarily and can be easily changed so it's easy to swap the glazing based on seasons or needs.
To ensure a strong and permanent hold, remove all dust or dirt from surfaces before attachment. When applied correctly the magnetic strips can be secure for many years.
