Please see Magnafix Direction of Use here.
The Magnafix magnetic tape system allows two surfaces to join magnetically without the need for ferrous material or fasteners like screws, nails or other, more invasive, traditional fastening methods. Complimentary A and B tapes, that are available in this 30m role and can be cut to any length, are supplied with matching poles that attract and bond seamlessly together. By removing the peel-away self-adhesive side, one tape can be glued to one surface and the corresponding tape to the other, so they attach with the simplicity and convenience of magnetic attraction. Pole matched magnetic products have countless uses and problem-solving capabilities at home, in the workplace or factory. Any situation where surfaces need to be bonded securely, quickly and in a semi-permanent fashion, Magnafix tapes can often provide a practical and cost-effective solution.,
This product is excellent for attaching and quickly removing flyscreens and acrylic panels (for soundproofing or heat retention) to windows and doors. **Flyscreens and acrylic panels without a frame will require extra adhesive to bond, or product will fail.

The Pull Force listed for each magnet is based on lifting 10mm thick steel from a horizontal surface. Magnets on a vertical surface (of 10mm thick steel) are generally able to hold around only 30% of the pull force listed in the product description. This is due to the effects of gravity and the lack of friction between the surface and the shiny magnet. Read More
