Neodymium (Rare Earth) Magnets
Neodymium (or Rare Earth) magnets are the most powerful Permanent Magnets commercially available due to their powerful magnetic field and their great strength and coercivity. They offer a very impressive size to strength ratio – even the tiniest Neodymium magnet can hold an extraordinary amount of weight. These Rare Earth magnets are approximately 7 times stronger than our Ceramic Magnets and they are available in numerous sizes, shapes, dimensions and grades.

Neodymium (Rare Earth) Magnets
Neodymium Magnets are the strongest magnets available. These permanent magnets are often used in many industrial applications where a very strong magnet is required.  Some applications for our Neodymium Magnets are: metal separation, mining, construction, designing, printing, generators, holding and other industrial purposes. This type of permanent magnet has several protective coatings such as Nickel, Phosphorous or Zinc. The Neodymium magnets that we have for sale have good temperature stability however, when subjected to temperatures over 80 degrees Celsius they will begin to lose their magnetic abilities. Therefore, if you’re looking for magnets that can resist high temperatures, a more suitable option may be Ferrite Magnets or Samarium Cobalt.
Produced by the powder metallurgical method. Chemical composition of Nd2Fe14B. Very brittle and hard. Least corrosion resistance of all commercial magnets. High resistance to magnetic demagnetisation. Excellent cost to performance ratio. Reasonable temperature stability. Not suitable for high-temperature applications.
