Patches and Labels

Magnetic Patches are small, precut pieces of flexible magnetic sheeting with a convenient peel-away adhesive on the back. Photos, Artwork, Decorations and the like can be attached to metal surfaces once the Magnetic patch is applied. Many commercial printers use these Patch Magnets to make advertising material with contact details for Tradespeople or event invitations for clients that can then be displayed on a fridge. Patches are a very inexpensive method of making lightweight materials and paper products   magnetic.

If you regularly create labels for the home or office with a Label Printer, you may wish to explore the various AMF magnetic C-channel products. Printed labels can be attached to these magnetic lengths of C-channel, which are available in various sizes, to make your regular label compatible with steel shelving, filing cabinets or warehouse racking.

The main advantage to be gained by magnetising your labels is the ability to remove and relocate them instantly from one metal surface to the next without having to contend with messy glue or residue. C-channel can be cut with scissors to any length you need. The AMF catalogue also includes precut glossy magnetic labels that can be handwritten onto with a marker pen and also includes magnetic card holders that hold printed paper and cardboard signs in place. Coloured flexible precut labels, magnetic name tag holders, self-adhesive discs and blocks and A3 and A4 magnetic sheets are also part of this product range that can help make your office or workplace more efficient.

Magnets on a vertical surface (of 10mm thick steel) are generally able to hold around only 30% of the pull force listed in the product description. This is due to the effects of gravity and the lack of friction between the surface and the shiny magnet. Read More
