Style Pair of Self-Adhesive Rare Earth Disc Magnets (N35 Grade)
Coating Nickel (NiCuNi)
Dimensions Height:1mm, Diameter:10mm

Self-adhesive Rare Earth Magnets Description:

This pair of rare earth disc magnets have a diameter of 10mm and a height of 1mm. They have the 3M 467 adhesive on each opposite side of the pair of magnets. The adhesive has a thickness of 0.06 mm.

Uses for our Pair Rare Earth Disc Magnets:

The Self-Adhesive backing on each complimentary North/South Pair of magnets allows two items to be attached using Magnetic attraction and conveniently eliminates the need for ferrous metallic surfaces altogether! These powerful little discs are popular in Arts and Crafts for fixing different items together and these matching north/south pairs of magnets can be used to attach almost anything to almost anything with the ability to remove items with a simple pull for release motion that leaves surfaces undamaged and in their original condition. These paired magnets can also be used for adhering different lightweight objects like artwork or calendars to various non-metallic surfaces at your office, warehouse or home. For heavier objects, several pairs may be required.

NB: Ranges are indicative for product category, please check individual products for specic values within that range.

The most common coating for Neodymium magnets is Nickel + Copper + Nickel (Ni + Cu + Ni). This coating offers the magnet relatively good protection from corrosion and passive applications. If the magnet will be exposed to moisture or liquid then consider the use of an organic coating such as Epoxy. A hard wearing coating, Epoxy is suited to applications where the magnet will come under some friction or knocking.

Magnets are readily available in Blocks, Discs, Cylinders & Rings. AMF Magnetics specializes in the supply of short-run prototype magnets including Arc Segments, various magnetic orientations etc. If you need a magnet size that we don't carry in stock, submit a Design-a-Magnet enquiry for a quote on your custom magnet design.

Neodymium magnets are offered in several different grades. The first section N30-54 has an operating temperature of up to 80 degrees. Most of our stock only goes up to N38. The second section, denoted with the "M" prefix after the grade has an operating temperature 100 degrees. After this the grades are "H", "SH", "UH" & "EH". In order for the magnet to withstand a higher operating temperature, during production more of the raw material PrNd is incorporated as these elements have a naturally occurring resistance to high temperatures.

Strong slim magnets Some magnets stronger than the backing glue

These are perfect for the purpose of keeping sliding kitchen drawers closed but I did find that in two pairs (out of 8 pairs) the glue gave way and the magnets ended up together when the drawer was opened. One was an early failure (within a day) while the other occurred about a week later. The drawer in question is a heavy pots drawer. I have now supaglued the magnets whose glue failed. I did read the information brochure thoroughly and there was no particular advice about the gluing procedure to be used.
