This Magnafix tape magnet has a width of 12.5mm and a thickness of 1.6mm. This tape comes in a 30 metres length roll. It has a 3M 9448 adhesive on its part A. Identified by the AMF Magnets part number 59063A. **This product is not recommended for use with large sheets of perspex thicker than 6mm.
Please see Magnafix Direction of Use here.
The Magnafix two-part magnetic tape system allows two surfaces to join magnetically without the need for ferrous material, screws, nails or other more traditional fastening methods. Complementary pairs of A and B tapes, that are available in 30m roles and can be cut to the desired length, are supplied with matching poles that attract and bond seamlessly together. By removing the peel-away cover, the self-adhesive is exposed so one tape can be glued to one surface and the corresponding tape to the other. In this way, they bond with the simplicity and convenience of magnetic attraction.
Pole matched magnetic products have countless uses and problem-solving capabilities at home, in the workplace or factory. In any situation where surfaces need to be bonded securely, quickly and in a removable or semi-permanent fashion, Magnafix tapes provide a practical and cost-effective solution.,
This product is excellent for attaching and quickly removing flyscreens and acrylic panels (for soundproofing or heat retention) to windows and doors. **Flyscreens and acrylic panels without a frame will require extra adhesive to bond, or product will fail.

The Pull Force listed for each magnet is based on lifting 10mm thick steel from a horizontal surface. Magnets on a vertical surface (of 10mm thick steel) are generally able to hold around only 30% of the pull force listed in the product description. This is due to the effects of gravity and the lack of friction between the surface and the shiny magnet. Read More
