Samarium Cobalt (Rare Earth) Magnets

Samarium Cobalt (Rare Earth) Magnets were developed in the 1960’s and are strong Permanent Magnets made from an alloy of samarium and cobalt. Samarium Cobalt magnets are from the same family as Neodymium (Rare Earth) magnets and have generally the same strong pull force, however they have much better temperature stability and can maintain their magnetic stability in higher and lower temperatures than Rare Earth magnets! They are ideal for operation in small spaces due to their high magnetic strength - even the tiniest Samarium Cobalt magnet has a surprisingly strong magnetism!
