This ferrite pot magnet has a diameter of 55mm, a height of 11mm and a pull force of 12kg. It has a 22mm magnet bore and a 4.6mm pot bore. This ferrite magnet is identified by the AMF magnet part number 89020.
Ferrite Pot magnets offer a convenient solution when the marrying a non-magnetic material to a metal surface, such as fire door frames, scaffolding, bollards, windows and various other ferrous materials is required. Magnetic bond is non-invasive and instantaneous; two appealing factors appreciated in the construction industry alone. Unlike other magnets, these Ferrite Pots do not corrode when exposed to chemicals or moisture and the hole in the centre means they can be attached with a bolt or screw in a temporary manner, ready for reuse on the next project. Safety screens and barriers, railings, security panels and protective coverings can be installed and removed with very little effort and replaced at a moments notice without the need for tools or mains power. The instant and reusable nature of magnetic bond means worksites can become safer, less cluttered and more efficient and all that improves the bottom line for developers and construction companies.
These Ferrite Pot Magnets are available with different fixing holes and in various diameters, as seen in the table below.

The Pull Force listed for each magnet is based on lifting 10mm thick steel from a horizontal surface. Magnets on a vertical surface (of 10mm thick steel) are generally able to hold around only 30% of the pull force listed in the product description. This is due to the effects of gravity and the lack of friction between the surface and the shiny magnet. Read More
