Magnetic Product Description:
This ferrite pot magnet has a diameter of 25mm and a height of 8mm. It has a countersunk magnet bore and a 4.5mm pot bore. This ferrite magnet is identified by the AMF magnet part number 89017.
Uses for our ferrite pot magnets:
Ferrite Pot magnets or Ceramic Pot magnets have been largely developed to overcome the maim weakness associated with this type of magnetic material, which is its brittle and weak mechanical nature. The metal cap protects the magnet and deflects magnetic power to the uncapped surface, giving it increased holding strength compared to uncapped items. Ferrite material naturally resists corrosion, demagnetisation and heat fluctuations, so Ferrite Pot magnets can be an excellent alternative to Neodymium magnets and can also provide considerable cost-saving benefits over Neodymium. The countersunk hole adds versatility to the picture by allowing the Pot to be attached with a screw to various surfaces and later removed if circumstances change.
Capped with metal, these Ferrite Pots are less likely to be damaged by collision impact and perform well in outdoor activities and applications like agriculture, mining, transport, and construction. CAUTION: Do not overtighten attachment screws as this can potentially cause the magnet to become damaged or cracked.
Different diameters and hole sizes can be seen on the chart below.
