This U-Channel Ferrite block magnet has a 76.2mm length, a 22.3mm width and a height of 6.3mm. It is identified by the AMF magnet part number 89062.
Uses for our U Channel Ferrite Block Magnets:
This rectangular ferrite block has a steel casing to protect the fragile magnet inside and has the north pole on the uncapped side. There is 10kg maximum pull from the magnetic when in flush contact with a mild steel surface. Ferrite magnets have strong resistance to corrosion and they have a maximum operating temperature of 250 degrees Celsius. They are suitable for outdoor use and are ideal for attaching to fence posts so farm gates can be conveniently held in an open position, or so metal tools can be stored neatly and safely on a vertical plane. The holes allow it to be securely attached to any surface that can accept screws.
