Neodymium Ring Magnet - OD10mm x H3mm x ID4mm | N42

Magnetic Product Description:

This Rare Earth ring magnet has an outside diameter of 10mm, an inside diameter of 4mm and a thickness of 3mm. It is identified by the AMF magnet part number R-OD10H3ID4.

Uses for our Rare Earth Ring Magnets:

Permanent magnets come in several different types of magnetic material and Neodymium, or Rare Earth Magnets as they are otherwise known, are the strongest magnets. Neodymium ring magnets are an often overlooked shape of magnet however there are some industries that rely heavily on the circular magnetic pole of a rare earth ring. Speakers, solar power devices and even scientific instruments all rely on the unique properties of ring magnets. The volume overall of magnet material is reduced due to the hole through the centre of a ring magnet and therefore the strength of a ring shaped magnet is less than that of a disc of the same outer dimension. However the hole provides opportunities to have the magnet seated within a mechanical apparatus or housed inside a casing that other magnet shapes do not support as readily.
