Magnetic Product Description:

This rare earth ring magnet has an outside diameter of 22mm, an inside diameter of 4.5mm and a height or thickness of 10mm.  It is identified by the AMF magnet part number 23004A.

Uses for our Rare Earth Ring Magnets:

Unlike Blocks or Discs, Neodymium Rings have an inbuilt point of attachment and can be secured in position with wire, cable ties,  nylon rope or string. This makes them an ideal option for less-permanent applications, like outdoor gatherings, campsites or sporting events where they can be attached to just about anything and used to hold metal tools, cutlery, crockery, or signage that provides valuable information to participants and keeps things running smoothly. Shedding and portable buildings with metal content or even shipping containers can be decorated to stand out or be made less obvious in their surroundings by attaching the appropriate materials with Ring magnets and circumventing the need for nails, screws,  power tools or electricity. Access points like steel farm gates or site office doors can be held in an open or closed position for extended periods by using Ring magnetic to secure them in place.

The most common coating for Neodymium magnets is Nickel + Copper + Nickel (Ni + Cu + Ni). This coating offers the magnet relatively good protection from corrosion and passive applications. If the magnet will be exposed to moisture or liquid then consider the use of an organic coating such as Epoxy. A hard wearing coating, Epoxy is suited to applications where the magnet will come under some friction or knocking.

Magnets are readily available in Blocks, Discs, Cylinders & Rings. In order for the magnet to withstand a higher operating temperature, during production more of the raw material PrNd is incorporated as these elements have a naturally occurring resistance to high temperatures.
