Rare Earth Ring Magnet Product Description:

Our strong magnetic rings are constructed from powerful neodymium magnetic material. This product has a magnetic grading of N42. It has an outside diameter of 12.7mm, a countersunk hole with an inside diameter of 3.12mm and a thickness or height of 4mm. This strong neodymium magnet is identified by the AMF magnet part number 23011.

Uses for our Neodymium Countersunk Ring Magnet:

These strong permanent magnets are multi-functional and their countersunk face allows for versatility across many industries. Manufacturing and heavy industry use many types of ring magnets. School projects, arts and craft industries and shop fitting companies use these magnets as secret or hidden fixing fasteners.

This rare earth magnetic ring is often used in industrial settings to assist in the mass production of products. Neodymium ring magnets are employed throughout mechanical production lines for handling cans, drums, pails and more. The production apparatus in these systems use the magnetic strength of these rings magnets to lift, hold, turn, pull, release and re-hold products.

BRILLIANT

These magnets are wonderful for attaching my garden tools to a board in my shed, easy access all within view and taking up less space. Love the Countersunk Screws easy to attach and they are VERY strong.Plus I've just completed my Garage Work Bench, Wow all my tools safely attached to my Black Metal Peg Board mostly using these Magnets - will need to order more for myself to complete the job and some for a friend who loved them also.

The Magnetic Stud finder was just the best since I had to attach the Peg Board to the wall. Plus its handy for when I drop screws/nails on the garage floor, easy to find using the Magnet.

Absolutely Highly Recommend.

The most common coating for Neodymium magnets is Nickel + Copper + Nickel (Ni + Cu + Ni). This coating offers the magnet relatively good protection from corrosion and passive applications. If the magnet will be exposed to moisture or liquid then consider the use of an organic coating such as Epoxy. A hard wearing coating, Epoxy is suited to applications where the magnet will come under some friction or knocking.

Magnets are readily available in Blocks, Discs, Cylinders & Rings. AMF Magnetics specializes in the supply of short-run prototype magnets including Arc Segments, various magnetic orientations etc. If you need a magnet size that we don't carry in stock, submit a Design-a-Magnet enquiry for a quote on your custom magnet design.

Neodymium magnets are offered in several different grades. The first section N30-54 has an operating temperature of up to 80 degrees. Most of our stock only goes up to N38. The second section, denoted with the "M" prefix after the grade has an operating temperature 100 degrees. After this the grades are "H", "SH", "UH" & "EH". In order for the magnet to withstand a higher operating temperature, during production more of the raw material PrNd is incorporated as these elements have a naturally occurring resistance to high temperatures.
