Uses for our rare earth disc magnets:

Companies that sell fasteners like nuts and bolts sell a lot of magnets as well, including these versatile 12mmx6.6mm fasteners. Camping equipment manufacturers utilise magnets extensively in canvas products and outdoor equipment to provide strong, reliable, lightweight attachment that won't let campers or hikers down in the wild.

Magnets are valued for their compact size, light weight and reliability in all weather conditions. For securing tarpaulins and shade cloths and tent components, magnets provide a secure hold and quick release for a range of convenient camping aids. People at a campsite rarely have both hands free and nearly always have a torch, cup, cooking utensil or plate in one hand. Magnetic fasteners and holders make even awkward tasks possible with only one hand and secures equipment where it's needed and off the ground.

While a backpack, a hat and a water bottle might have sufficed in the past, camping has come a long way in just a few decades. A range of products, many using magnets to improve their efficiency and amenity, are available to those who want to camp out, but not rough it. Taking the creature comforts of home into the great outdoors has become known as 'Glamping' ie; glamorous camping! Magnets have helped to make this lifestyle possible.

13mm magnetic socket

Great product. Required magnetic sockets as they are really hard to find in AU and very expensive to buy on line. Saved 50% in cost.
