Hi Darren,

Thank you for giving these diametrically magnetised cylinder magnets a try! We're pleased to hear you appreciate the diametric magnetisation feature - it really does make these 5.5mm x 20mm cylinders quite unique compared to standard axially magnetised magnets.

You're absolutely right that the compact 5.5mm diameter can make these little cylinders a bit tricky to work with initially. The diametric magnetisation means the north and south poles are on opposite sides of the cylinder rather than on the flat ends, which opens up some really interesting possibilities for rotating applications, sensors, and creative magnetic coupling projects once you get the hang of positioning them.

We really appreciate your product suggestion for diametrically magnetised ring magnets in those larger 60mm and 45mm outer diameters. Customer feedback like yours helps us understand what products would be valuable additions to our range, and we'll definitely take this into consideration for future product development.

Thanks again for choosing AMF Magnetics and for taking the time to share your thoughts!
