This popular rare earth cylinder has a diameter of 2.7mm and a height of 5mm. It is an N52 grade rare earth magnet. It has a magnetic flux reading of 6994 Gauss and a pull force of 312g. It is identified by the AMF magnet part number C-D2.7H5-N52C.
Uses for our rare earth cylinder magnets:
Cylinder magnets are utilised in a huge array of magnetic tools and are ideal for products such as metal separation devices, generators, magnetic stirrers, metal detectors, tool and knife holders and stud finders. Also referred to as rod magnets, these mini magnets are also suited to a range of craft and home handy projects. Their small sizes makes them a discreet solution for holding, attached and securing lightweight items. Although petite they are still considered strong magnets and should be handled with care and kept out of the reach of children. This magnet is Parylene C coated which lends it a blue tinted chrome-like appearance and provides superior corrosion resistance compared to standard Nickel plating.
