Magnetic Product Description:

This popular rare earth cylinder has a diameter of 12mm and a height of 20mm. It is an N50 grade rare earth magnet. It has a magnetic flux reading of 6943 Gauss and a pull force of 7.59kg. It is identified by the AMF magnet part number C-D12H20-N50.

Uses for our rare earth cylinder magnets:

Customers performing duties that require magnets to be continually removed and relocated usually find Neodymium Cylinder magnetic products from AMF the most suitable. The long, round and narrow dimensions of the cylinder shape make them easy to grasp, remove and relocate by hand. Magnetic whiteboards or metal surfaces in the office or classroom are examples of where this type of activity occurs. The tall cylindrical shape and relatively small round contact area mean the magnet can be tilted laterally to break the powerful bond more easily than either a typically lower height disc or block-shaped magnet. These rod-like magnets are ideal for holding paperwork such as notices, household bills, schedules, calendars and artwork on vertical metallic surfaces. As one of the rare earth magnetic materials, Neodymium has an incredibly strong magnetic hold that is both permanent and non-reliant on external power sources.
