Magnetic Product Description:

AMF stocks and supplies a diverse range of Neodymium block magnets including this tiny item with a Nickel coating. It contains N50 Grade Neodymium and is axially magnetised through the 1.5mm height dimension. Pull force is rated to 0.17kg and surface gauss is 6860G.


Uses for our Rare Earth block magnets:

Neodymium block magnets like these are used in highly technical and sensitive measuring equipment such as sensors, gauges, and switches. They can play an integral part in the operation of important monitors for industrial processing equipment, commercial systems and medical devices where their permanent, self-sufficient power and accuracy are important in maintaining safe, consistent, trouble-free operations. One or more magnets can be configured in an extremely sensitive assembly where they react precisely to different levels of magnetic influences such as ferrous material or electrical signals. Highly accurate monitoring is vital for determining appropriate maintenance scheduling for industrial equipment and for keeping delicate manufacturing systems within safe operating tolerances.

Small, inconspicuous Neodymium magnets are also used in delicate, contemporary fashion accessories and jewellery designs where they provide a practical and modern alternative to traditional fastening methods. Block shaped magnets can be glued neatly inside angled frames to act as closure devices on storage containers or to attach decorative items.
