Magnetic Product Description:

This neodymium magnetic block has a length of 3.175mm, width of 3.175mm and a height of 3.175mm. It has a magnetic flux reading of 6447 Gauss and a pull force of 0.9 kilos. It is identified by the AMF magnet part number B-W3.175H3.175L3.175-N52au

Uses for our rare earth block magnets:

Neodymium Block magnets are supplied by AMF in a wide range of sizes and various magnetic grades. Block shaped Neodymium magnets are used in apparatus used for metal filtration and removal, waste recycling, sound amplification and recording, medical magnetic resonance equipment, scientific research, electronic consumer goods and for point of sale advertising and display purposes.
Two powerful Neodymium magnets or alternatively a magnet and a ferrous metal surface, allow an extremely strong adhesive force to be attained from smaller, lighter magnets. This, in turn, leads to the development of smaller and lighter electronic products that perform more efficiently and commercial processes that are more reliable and more accurate.

Hybrid and Electric cars use Neodymium magnets where their relatively small size and strong magnetic field helps to achieve weight reduction and overall efficiency targets. Performance is also maximised using Neodymium magnetic technology.

Gold coated magnets are still susceptible to rust when exposed to the elements or damage from their environment. If you need to ensure that your gold magnet does not rust, you may want to consider applying a sealant which will extend the lifespan of the coating, but may reduce the pull force.
