Magnetic Product Description:

This neodymium magnetic block has a length of 20mm, width of 10mm and a height of 3mm. It has a pull force of 3.84 kilos. It is identified by the AMF magnet part number B-W10H3L20-N48.

Uses for our rare earth block magnets:

Slim rectangular Neodymium magnets can bond with steel or another magnet to make ideal points of attachment between the components of sophisticated electronic devices. They can be fitted into the angular perimeter of the moulded plastic bodies of a product without compromising the product’s overall weight or size. The inclusion of magnets in product designs invariably leads to a greater level of performance and the higher commercial value of that product.
Magnetic attachment using small, yet extremely strong Neodymium magnetic blocks can be discreet or even invisible, while also providing the opportunity to activate processes magnetically. Operations can be activated by magnets as they fall into the field proximity of another magnet, a ferrous surface or an electrical field.
Nearly all industries at the technological cutting edge find this advantageous for the products they design, especially the Aviation and Automotive sectors. Neodymium power offers the benefits of being permanent, powerful and autonomous in terms of energy requirements. The sturdy bond that Neodymium magnets create can be released manually using physical force.

The magnetic bond can then be easily and endlessly reinstated using the intuitive nature of magnets to relocate themselves back to the correct position. N48 Grade magnetic power and all other grades are permanently instated during the manufacturing process and in addition to a magnet’s physical dimensions, creates options for users to attain the ideal level of magnetism suitable for their application.

These are perfect for the purpose intended. I attach one or two to my workshop equipment and then the tools for that machine. Great for keeping the pedestal drill chuck key handy and so-on. If a tool is made of wood or plastic, a couple of countersunk screws close together is enough for the magnet to hold on. I don't attach the magnets to the side of electric motors. May possibly cause an imbalance in the motor.
