Great magnets, suits my purposes admirably. Great prompt service, thank you. Question - "Axially magnetised" what exactly does that mean? Which axis? A drawing with N and S would be helpful. Please consider.

This rectangular block magnet has a length of 30mm, a width of 12.5mm and a thickness of 3.3mm. It has a magnetic flux of 2119 Gauss and a pull force against 5mm mild steel of 4.7 kilos. It uses the AMF magnetic part number 22009A
This magnet is such a handy size that it is a popular, all-purpose magnet and is often used by visual display companies when developing shop fittings designs and creating advertising display units. It's wide and thin dimensions give it a relatively large surface area to its mass which gives it an enhanced holding ability on flat surfaces and can easily be inserted between materials to create an invisible closure system.

The Pull Force listed for each magnet is based on lifting 10mm thick steel from a horizontal surface. Magnets on a vertical surface (of 10mm thick steel) are generally able to hold around only 30% of the pull force listed in the product description. This is due to the effects of gravity and the lack of friction between the surface and the shiny magnet. Read More
