This is a relatively NEW product in the world of Magnets. It combines the super strong power of Neodymium with the Flexibility of rubber to create a compound with a new level of holding power that remains.flexible.The addition of Rare Earth Neodymium materials increases magnetic strength but also increases the manufacturing cost and the retail price It is created in the factory using Neodymium powder within a polymer matrix making this Magnet Strip is the strongest of our flexible magnetic tapes. This Neodymium Magnetic Strip has a width of 25mm, a thickness of 1.5mm and a length of 1metre. Identified by the AMF magnet part number 59075/25.
Please note: We do not recommend this product for outdoor use, where it can be exposed to moisture, damp or wet surfaces and/or weather, if slight rusting is of concern.
This product is ideal for use where Ferrite tapes lack the required magnetic strength. Typical uses include securing and displaying heavy items (approx. 2 kg), like banners and signage. In these circumstances, a glue similar to Selleys Kwik Grip may need to be applied as the 3M 9448 adhesive isn't suitable for very heavy weighted objects.
These newly introduced products are 1-inch wide and combine the superior power of Neodymium with the excellent flexibility of a polymer matrix for the first time, to create an extremely practical and versatile magnetic tape. The quality adhesive on the back can attach to just about anything and make the item attachable to any metallic surface. It comes in a 1-metre length but can be cut to the size you require and has far greater holding power than standard Ferrite strips and has enough strength for some industrial applications. These self-adhesive strips can hold heavier objects and have applications in workshops, hobby and art studios or around your work vehicle, caravan or motorhome.

The Pull Force listed for each magnet is based on lifting 10mm thick steel from a horizontal surface. Magnets on a vertical surface (of 10mm thick steel) are generally able to hold around only 30% of the pull force listed in the product description. This is due to the effects of gravity and the lack of friction between the surface and the shiny magnet. Read More
