This product, PART A can be used in conjunction with PART B for a matching bond to any surface.
They say eyes are a window to the soul and that may be so, but on a less poetic note, they should also say your windows are a window into your home for bugs, birds, lizards and unwanted noise from traffic, aircraft, rowdy neighbours or their pets. Thankfully, Magnafix Part A, 25mm in width, 1.6mm thick and available in rolls of 30metres in length, can be matched with Part B and attached to two opposing surfaces to provide a simple, precise and secure method of fitting insect screens or sound and lightproof panels magnetically to the inside of your windows. **Flyscreens and acrylic panels without a frame will require extra adhesive to bond, or product will fail.
With its own 3M adhesive, Part A is a strong flexible magnetic tape and is able to be cut to size to neatly accommodate varying sizes of screens and glazing products while also keeping out vermin, noise or moderating extreme temperatures. This method of fastening allows for the simple removal of the screens for regular maintenance and cleaning, or when the inconsiderate neighbours move out, and simple and secure reattachment when temperatures and seasons change.

The Pull Force listed for each magnet is based on lifting 10mm thick steel from a horizontal surface. Magnets on a vertical surface (of 10mm thick steel) are generally able to hold around only 30% of the pull force listed in the product description. This is due to the effects of gravity and the lack of friction between the surface and the shiny magnet. Read More
