How does Power Oil Filter Magnet Ring work?
- Contaminated oil enters the oil filter
- Oil Filter Magnet Ring separates the ferrous particles from oil and attracts it on the filter canister
- The ferrous free oil then passes through the standard filter elements
- Oil Filter Magnet Ring keeps the ferrous particles trapped until it is thrown away together with oil filter during a filter change.

When filter elements are clogged, the pressure builds up and pushes the top plates opening the bypass valve. When the bypass valve opens, the oil flowed back to the engine without filtration, thus the particle will cause premature engine wear. |
