This ferrite ring, otherwise known as ceramic ring, magnet has a pull force of 3.4kg. This ring magnet has an outside diameter of 80mm, an inside diameter of 40mm and a height or thickness of 15mm. This permanent magnet has a magnetic grading of Y30BH. It is identified by the Amf magnets part number 13019.
Our ferrite ring magnets are often used in loudspeakers, in resonance imaging and also in torque drives. A popular application for children is the fishing game, tied on a piece of string to pick up pins and needles. Some other applications around the house or workshop include door closures, holding, joinery, light fixture.
Ferrite rings offer reduced magnetic strength in comparison to our super strong disc magnets due to the hole in the middle. Due to this they offer a more inexpensive pricing, which makes them favourable for a cost efficient purchase. If you require a stronger ring magnet please see our rare earth ring magnets.

NB: Ranges are indicative for product category, please check individual products for specific values within that range.
The Pull Force listed for each magnet is based on lifting 10mm thick steel from a horizontal surface. Magnets on a vertical surface (of 10mm thick steel) are generally able to hold around only 30% of the pull force listed in the product description. This is due to the effects of gravity and the lack of friction between the surface and the shiny magnet. Read More
