This ferrite ring magnet has an outside diameter of 10mm, an inside diameter of 2mm and a height of 8mm. It is identified by the AMF magnet part number 13095.

Uses for our Ferrite Ring magnets:

This Ferrite Ring shaped magnet has a small diameter hole that has little impact on its overall mechanical strength or pull-force. The cavity provides both a permanent fixing or temporary locating point as well as a central void that allows wires, cables and tubes to pass through the magnet, exposing them to magnetic modification or influence. Great for Brio scale trains

Same experience as Mathew above. used to make a Brio scale wooden train. Perfect size and the hole was just right for an upholstery nail.

better than expected

Bought to build childrens magnetic toy trains. Magnet exactly the same as per size used on Thomas wooden train toys. Slightly stronger magnetic effect. Hole perfect diameter for a upholstery nail to create round end for connecting trains.
