This ferrite disc magnet has a diameter of 13mm and a thickness of 10mm. It has a magnetic flux reading of 1867 Gauss and a pull force of 700 grams. It is identified by the AMF magnet part number 10115.

Uses for our ferrite disc magnets:

As with any type of magnetic material, increasing the height or thickness of a magnet adds to its volume and this results in more magnetic strength. The 10mm height dimension makes this Ferrite Disc easy to grasp by hand and as a result, is also easily relocated around a metallic surface. As well as offering increased power, thicker ferrite magnets are less prone to cracking or chipping and can be a sensible alternative where resilience and increased mechanical strength is required. Ferrite materials, unlike alternative materials, are able to withstand exposure to high temperatures and are not susceptible to corrosive forces such as salt air, water or chemicals. For low-cost DIY projects or for outdoor use, Ferrite magnets are a viable option.
