This ferrite disc magnet has a diameter of 12mm and a thickness of 6mm. It has a magnetic flux reading of 1940 Gauss and a pull force of 420 grams. It is identified by the AMF magnet part number 10120.
These Ferrite Disc Magnets are great value for money and while less powerful, they offer the same permanent power as more expensive magnets such as Neodymium or Alnico. This 12mm x 6mm disc is lightweight and often used by people in craftwork or by hobbyists to hold or display their work in a practical and inexpensive fashion. Use an Epoxy glue to hold them in place permanently or to attach them to another surface.

NB: Ranges are indicative for product category, please check individual products for specific values within that range.
The Pull Force listed for each magnet is based on lifting 10mm thick steel from a horizontal surface. Magnets on a vertical surface (of 10mm thick steel) are generally able to hold around only 30% of the pull force listed in the product description. This is due to the effects of gravity and the lack of friction between the surface and the shiny magnet. Read More
