Uses for our ferrite block magnets:
This axially magnetised Ferrite Block has the poles located on the wide and long surface area. The slimline shape adds to the mechanical fragility already displayed by all Ferrite magnetic material and allows them to be easily broken. They are suitable for light holding duties or when careful placement offers them some protection from collision damage, like cloth coverings or inside clothing for example. Although stronger, smaller magnets have been developed and are available, Ferrite magnets are unbeatable on price and in their anti-corrosive properties.
