This female thread neodymium pot magnet combines compact size with exceptional holding strength, making it ideal for demanding industrial, workshop, and commercial applications. Encased in a durable steel cup, the high-performance N50 grade neodymium magnet delivers an impressive 40kg pull force under ideal conditions.

The 30mm diameter, 16mm high pot magnet is fitted with a 1/4" UNF half-internal female thread, allowing fast and secure attachment of compatible bolts, eyebolts, hooks, or custom fittings. Its notch base design improves stability and helps prevent rotation during installation or under load.

This magnet features a ¼”-28 UNF threaded hole with a depth of 10mm, designed for compatibility with imperial fasteners. Due to the fine imperial thread specification, standard M6 screws are not suitable for use. For proper fitment and optimal performance, a ¼-28 UNF bolt must be used instead of an M6 fastener.

The steel casing not only protects the magnet from impact and wear but also concentrates the magnetic field at the contact surface, significantly increasing holding power compared to standard magnets of similar size.

The most common coating for Neodymium magnets is Nickel + Copper + Nickel (Ni + Cu + Ni). This coating offers the magnet relatively good protection from corrosion and passive applications. If the magnet will be exposed to moisture or liquid then consider the use of an organic coating such as Epoxy. A hard wearing coating, Epoxy is suited to applications where the magnet will come under some friction or knocking.

Magnets are readily available in Blocks, Discs, Cylinders & Rings. Neodymium magnets are offered in several different grades. The first section N30-54 has an operating temperature of up to 80 degrees. Most of our stock only goes up to N38. The second section, denoted with the "M" prefix after the grade has an operating temperature 100 degrees. After this the grades are "H", "SH", "UH" & "EH". In order for the magnet to withstand a higher operating temperature, during production more of the raw material PrNd is incorporated as these elements have a naturally occurring resistance to high temperatures.
