Uses for our alnico pot magnets:
As with all Pot Magnets, Alnico Holding Pots have a steel casing that deflects most of the polarity to the base or holding surface, giving increased magnetic power compared to similarly sized uncapped magnets. A steel cover plate or 'keeper' is used to on the base to maintain magnetic flow between the poles and stop demagnetisation due to Alnico's low coercive properties.Uses include sensors, detection and measuring instruments and general purpose holding applications.
