Magnetic Product Description:

This Alnico Cow Magnet has a length of 75mm and a diameter of 12mm. It is identified by AMF Magnetics Part Number 49025.

Uses for our Alnico Cow Magnets:

Because cows tend to eat without chewing, Cow Magnets are used by Dairy Farmers and Veterinarians to guard against Hardware Disease. While grazing in the paddock, cows consume everything from grass and dirt to nails, staples and bits of rusted fencing wire (also known as tramp iron). Tramp iron can lodge in the honeycombed walls of the cow's reticulum, which puts surrounding organs at risk and causes irritation and inflammation, known as Hardware Disease. The cow then loses her appetite and subsequently her milk output, and her ability to put on weight. Cow magnets help prevent this disease by attracting stray metal from around the rumen and reticulum and are usually administered to calves at branding time via a plastic tube in the oesophagus. A single Cow Magnet works for the cow's lifespan!

Another not-NZ site

I'm very happy with the magnet but kind of over sites with a .nz domain turning out to be Australia-based, and having to pay for and wait for shipping from Australia.

I get that it may not be worth having a warehouse in NZ, but it'd be good for this to be clearly stated up front on the homepage of the site, so kiwi customers don't feel misled when they are seeking a NZ-based solution.
