Magnetic viewing film

AMF Magnetics’ Visual Magnetic Viewer Card is designed to help you determine the location of the magnetic poles. Through the use of a translucent, thin, flexible sheet and tiny flakes of nickel, the magnetic field of a magnet becomes apparent when held under the screen. Some magnets are magnetised differently and with multiple poles and so it’s useful to be able to locate the poles. Simply place the Viewer Card over the magnet you wish to view, regardless of the shape, and the viewer will illuminate the magnetised field! The darker areas shown indicate a magnetic pole and the light coloured area shows the space between the poles.
