Magnetic Sheets Self Adhesive

Self-Adhesive Magnetic Sheets are an amazing product that allows you to create a magnetic area without requiring a metallic surface, or to make any object magnetic! These magnetic sheets with adhesive backing are simple to use, just peel and stick magnetic sheets to practically any surface - it's that easy. Simply pull away the protective cover on the sticky back of the magnetic sheet and stick it to a card, photo, or calendar. The other side will magnetically attract to the fridge, a whiteboard, the filing cabinet, or any other ferrous metallic surface. Alternatively, the larger Self-Adhesive Magnetic Sheets can be used to create a magnetic surface on nearly any vertical surface.

Magnetic Sheets Self Adhesive

Adhesive magnetic sheets are available in pre-cut sizes such as A5, A4, and metre lengths. Got a large project? We’ve got you covered with our self-adhesive magnetic rolls, just let us know how many metres you would like as a continuous length.

The fantastic thing about magnetic sheets is how user-friendly they are! Not only are they easy to cut with scissors or a craft knife, they are perfect for all levels of experience. The flexible nature of the product also provides a forgiving magnetic coverage for surfaces such as lockers, fridges, and poles that may have a curved surface. An alternative to larger peel and stick magnetic sheets is our range of magnetic patches, available in packs of a thousand and a cost-effective option.

Our Range of Self-Adhesive Sheet Magnets

Magnetic sheets with adhesive backing are generally created from Strontium or Barium Ferrite powder within a polymer matrix. This product provides very good resistance to corrosion, chemical agents, and demagnetisation.

Self-adhesive magnetic sheets are available in a range of different thicknesses including 0.4mm, 0.6mm and 0.8mm. As with all magnets, the strength of the magnetic hold is determined by the amount of magnet material present.

Multiple factors influence the best choice of product for your project however as a general rule we advise the 0.4mm thickness is not suitable to hold any additional weight other than itself. The 0.6mm thickness is popular for people making paper or card advertising materials or affixing crafts. The 0.8mm thickness can be used on cars as the magnetic hold is robust.

NeoFlex Magnetic Sheets
Are you looking for a powerful hold? Our NeoFlex combines the convenience of peel and stick magnetic sheets with the supercharged magnetic power of Neodymium magnets. Available as A5 sheets this strong adhesive magnetic product has a pull force of 400grams per centimetre squared. Like all other adhesive magnetic sheets, they can be cut to size with a craft knife or scissors. If you are after smaller pieces, why not check out our range of Neodymium tape.

Steel Magnet Holding Whiteboard Sheet
Create a magnetic whiteboard on your wall, door, or window! Not to be confused with its cousins - this fantastic product is not a magnet sheet, but a magnet holding whiteboard sheet. Constructed with steel filings in a flexible polymer the result is a ferrous metallic sheet that magnets can be adhered to. The semi-erase whiteboard surface can be drawn and written on with whiteboard markers.

FAQs

How do you use magnetic adhesive sheets?
Magnetic sheets are simple and easy to use. Simply cut the sheet to size using a pair of scissors or craft knives. Remove the protective paper by peeling it back from the edge then stick the adhesive side to your object or surface as desired. Once adhered your object is able to magnetically attach to ferrous metallic surfaces. For more information about Magnetic Sheeting please take a look at our Knowledge Base articles or contact our team.

How strong are magnetic sheets?
The general rule for magnets is that the strength of the magnet is dependent on the amount of magnet material present. However, there are exceptions to every rule; the type and grade of magnet are also important factors.
The strongest type of sticky back magnetic sheet is NeoFlex with an incredible 400grams per cm squared pull force. For more technical information please take a look at the product pages for product codes 59188 and 59189.

The Pull Force listed for each magnet is based on lifting 10mm thick steel from a horizontal surface. Magnets on a vertical surface (of 10mm thick steel) are generally able to hold around only 30% of the pull force listed in the product description. This is due to the effects of gravity and the lack of friction between the surface and the shiny magnet. Read More
