Plate Magnet 200mm x 250mm x 120mm Suspension NdFeB
Product code: PM200250120

Plate Magnet 200mm x 250mm x 120mm Suspension NdFeB
Magnetic Product Description:
This Plate Magnet (Custom built) has a length of 200mm, a width of 250mm and a height of 120mm. It is identified by the AMF part number PM200250120.
Uses for our plate magnets:
Magnetic attraction is used in a range of devices to intervene in production flows to attract, capture and secure for removal any hazardous metal fragments that can cause long-term damage to equipment in the production process, and damage the health of end users.
Plate magnets are such devices, intervening in production flows and often suspended over passing raw material or partly processed product. Foodstuffs like grains and flour and building materials like gravel and cement can be subjected to magnetic filtration. Ferrous metallic fragments (shrapnel) contained therein experience magnetic discrimination and are safely separated. Intercepted by Plate Magnets for safe disposal, these metallic pieces no longer pose a threat to human or animal welfare or expensive and sensitive processing machinery.
Waste recycling stations process building, commercial, industrial and general household hard rubbish. Rubbish pushed with excavators over a series of plates can be stripped of metal content.
Elsewhere on site, conveyor belts carry loose mixed general hard waste underneath a plate magnet for the capture and retrieval of scrap metal. Removing the most valuable waste first, including chunks of structural steel, the discerning ability of a Plate Magnet allows for simpler and safer sorting of the remaining organic and plastic waste.
Our custom-built plate magnets are perfect for picking up ferrous metal from a distance of up to 150mm.
