Magnetic Product Description:

Made using neodymium powder, this flexible magnetic strip is the strongest magnetic tape we have. This Rare Earth magnetic strip has a width of 12.5mm, a thickness of 1.5mm and a length of 1 metre. Identified by the AMF magnet part number 59185.

Please note: We do not recommend this product for outdoor use, where it can be exposed to moisture, damp or wet surfaces and/or weather, if slight rusting is of concern.

Uses for our Rare Earth Non-Adhesive Tape Magnets:

This magnetic tape product is precut into 1-metre lengths only and is NON-ADHESIVE so where non-metallic surfaces are involved, a contact adhesive glue is required. Marketed with the name 'NEO FLEX' this is a relatively NEW product in the world of Magnets and combines the super magnetic power of Neodymium with rubber to create a new level of holding power while retaining flexibility. The addition of Rare Earth (Neodymium) materials greatly increases magnetic strength but also increases the manufacturing cost and as a result, the retail price Made from Neodymium powder within a polymer matrix, this Magnet Strip is the strongest of our flexible magnetic tapes. These magnetic non-adhesive strips play useful holding and easy release functions in industries associated with signage, displays and exhibitions.

This Neodymium magnetic strip is the "Duct tape" of magnets and is ideal for use where Ferrite tapes lack the required magnetic strength. Typical uses include securing and displaying heavy items up to 2 kgs such as banners and signage. A glue such as Selleys Kwik Grip is ideal for attaching your graphic creations to the strip.

Awesome if you know how to use it

It's magnetic strength is very good. I'm using it to create custom made/3Dprinted socket set and wrench holders and it's just awesome to work with.

I noticed that on one side it's magnetic field is very strong (for it's size, obviously) and on the other is quite weak. This can be very handy if you're placing bits back to back, or need to isolate it somehow.

Also, it's so easy to cut with scissors that it just makes it a bliss to work with.

Don't forget to wash your hands afterwards, you don't want to scrub plasticised minerals all over yourself.

And don't try to bend it on tight corners. It has around of 3-5mm of min radius.

Glad I got this magnet!!

I used this strip of magnet on my new car to prevent my small dog from scratching the outside of the car when she's standing at the window It works great and is indeed a strong connection!!
