This ferrite ring magnet has an outside diameter of 100mm, an inside diameter of 60mm and a height of 17mm. It has a pull force of 3.9kg and a Y30BH grade. It is identified by the Amf magnets part number 13015.
Uses for our ferrite rings magnets:
Ferrite Ring magnets are commonly used in the manufacture of Audio loudspeakers and in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)equipment used in hospitals to scan patients. The Ferrite Rings have reduced magnetic strength, due to the centre cavity, but for some particular applications, this reduced surface area facilitates quick and easy removal or repositioning of the magnet and also acts as an attachment point. Ferrite Ring Magnets are also the basis of Ferrite Holding Magnets, otherwise known as Ferrite Pot Magnets. In this case, the Rings are capped with a steel case(pot) on one side that deflects some of the South pole magnetic pull force to the North pole face which increases its total holding ability while also protecting the brittle Ferrite material from damage.
